...for a different kind of girl

silent surburban girl releasing her voice, not yet knowing what all she wants to say about her life and the things that make it spin. do you have to be 18 to be here? you'll know when i know.

'i don't mind the sun sometimes...'

Sometimes, when I remember to look around, what I get in return is worthy of pause.

If I could remember the rest of the lyrics to this song, I would write it down. Rascal Flats theme song from Disney's Pixar Movie Cars

You've got some pretty skies out there in the mid west.

On the other side of my house at the same time this was going on was a very brief rainbow in a purple sky. I'll have to put that up sometime.

This picture probably buries the long, says nothing post below!

Ph, and the song I reference here? Not that Rascal Flatts tune...

Good to see you two!

Being of the variety who has been tempted to laugh at the most inappropriate of circumstances, I could think of only one thing when when I saw this photo... that quotation from the Professor on Gilligan's Island.

So, it wasn't a hand grenade after all.

Nice photo, though. Would make great desktop wallpaper. Do you have anything in 1280 x 1024?

That's one prop I have to give to the desert out here. The beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Watching them with the mountains can be a beautiful sight!

CH and Summer - Hope you had a good trip!

Marla - You like some interesting music, gorgeous....

But do you *really* think you should be posting rainbow pictures? I mean, you had one that included a unicorn not that long ago...

Stacie - Thank you. I was stunned to turn around and see it the other night.

Ed - A sunset pretty much rocks, I say. Thanks for commenting...

2am - You gotta dig a guy who can pull up a "Gilligan's Island" quote!

Desmond - Very true, my friend. Everyone walked away from me as left me standing there to watch it a bit longer. Totally rocked.

Choppzs - I'm going to pretend that the electrical wires and rooftops are my mountains. It's the best I can do here! However, I've seen them from your vantage point and I'd love them every day. Wanna switch?

Savage - Charmer...

Nanette - One day we'll drive off into one, sweetie girl!

Nocturnal - Thank you. While the dark elements in it add to it, I almost wish they weren't there. I'd probably frame this if they weren't. But I dig it, regardless. So, thank you.
