shall we play a game? version 2.0

Remember last summer when I when I put up this post asking you all to figure out what it was my Tool Man and I were talking about, and was all "Oh, ha ha ha! Hilarious. They'll never figure this out!" and then 30 minutes after I hit 'publish post' one of you did, leaving me sitting dumbfounded in the spot I'd not yet moved from, muttering "Well, hmmm. That was fun while it lasted."?

Well it's time to play again!

A few nights ago, Tool Man and I were enjoying some time together when he asked me the following question:

"It's pretty thick, isn't it? It feels like you're sucking holes in it!"

(sidebar - It should be noted that I was not, in fact, sucking holes in it because I have the particular job he was speaking of down to a science)(also? practice makes perfect!)(though no one ever says there's such a thing as a bad one of these)

Now it's your turn to do some work, if you choose. Fill up the comments with love. And guesses, too, since that's really what this is all about.

Wow...my first guess would be a milkshake. And then I was all "Wait, did FADKOG get one of those machines from WAyne's World, that sucks the hair as it's cut?!?!" 'Cause that would be the most awesome thing in the world.

Yea, I was thinking milkshake like everyone else. But then I thought FADKOG surely wouldn't make it that easy. But for the life of me I can't figure this out...

I always feel like I'm sucking holes in an Icee. Though I don't usually think of an Icee as "thick..."

I think Desmond got it right as well. Maybe the question is, what kind of milkshake? The Shamrock was a good guess, or maybe a Frostee from Wendy's? Cause those things are thick!

I'm going to go with homemade milkshake.

It's gotta be a milkshake. Or maybe Jello through a straw?

Poor Tool Man. I'll bet he looks like one of those Fisher Price Little People characters.

Just to be different I'm going with different angle....If you were working on a project together (not like the caulk project)- I would guess you were mixing mud, or thinset?

I LOATHE myself for being such a lemming - albeit a well-accessorized lemming - but I have to go with milkshake too. Sigh.

May have to start thinking of your site as "For A Different, Innuendo-Filled Kind of Girl"; between here & Twitter, I see you're a bit of an expert at this.

Fine. I voted milkshake too but I am trying to wean myself off being a sheep. Humph

Well...*TECHNICALLY* it was a malt. A strawberry malt from Sonic, to be exact. Because in my thinking, a milkshake is more milk, and thus less thick. I like (nay - LOVE) thick. Eyeball popping, concave-cheek sucking thick. So there's that.

But regardless of that technicality, I guess this is where I say this was fun again. For eight minutes!! Des had it before I'd even refreshed my page, apparently!! Well done, sir. Well done, indeed!

Some of you have gotten me craving a smoothie, though, so I've added big tubs of yogurt and fruit to my grocery list. Mmmm...smoothies!

Not mmmmm? Shamrock Shakes. *Shudder*. I tried a taste of one Tuesday and was instantly reminded of why I'd thrown up the last time I'd had one as a child.

Also, let it be known that I am, indeed, a woman of many talents (thank you for remembering, Numby)(flowbee haircuts wouldn't probably be one of them, nor is vacuuming - because, I have to be honest - I love and loathe the Dyson) and my Tool Man would likely be happy if some of those talents kicked in around here.

But first, I need some breakfast.

I am so relieved. . . 'milkshake' was feeling like a 'too easy' answer, but I just couldn't come up (easy now, Seth) with anything else (altho the Flowbee was a very clever answer - props to Meg).

But you know, when you think about the obvious double-E-ness of it, "feels like you're sucking a hole in it". . . gives me the willies. . .

Des - It gave me the willies, too, but then just the sheer double entendre of his remark was a good jumping off point for me!

Bee - I tried that last weekend. It's harder than it looks!

Lainey-Paney - I've not had a Wendy's frosty in forever. Probably because the Wendy's near my hous is so awful; however, you're the second person to mention them and I'm kind of craving one now!

Anonymous - Oh! Good idea! Also, I love making that stuff for my kids.

Anonymous - Another good idea, and also, another thing I need to lay off of for awhile!
