...for a different kind of girl

silent surburban girl releasing her voice, not yet knowing what all she wants to say about her life and the things that make it spin. do you have to be 18 to be here? you'll know when i know.

Yeah! Packages arrived Thursday. Welcome home from work, FADKOG!

So this pretty much describes my weekend in a nutshell...

The soundtrack to my weekend wasn't limited to "She Bop" however. Nope. It also included "Dancing With Myself" and "I Touch Myself" and "Talk Dirty To Me".

That last one? 'Cause I'm a giver.

Crazy asses.

Good to hear you're a giver. Probably not half as glad as your hubs though.

She was boppin' at my house, too. As I am a horrible swimmer, I hung with the rabbit instead of the dolphin. Same result, I'm pretty sure.

RS, somehow it seems we're missing out on whatever this 'Self-service MasterBingo" thing is. Not sure I'd feel safe even in the corner .... but then again, this isn't about safety is it?

Gotta love water sports!

Ok, just thought I'd let you know you can save some money and make your . . . uh . . . tools at home. Check out homemade (dash) sex (dash) toys (dot) com. Maybe the "I love my toothbrush" section might interest you :o)

Thank you for posting the video, it took me right back to 1984 - a good year by all measures.

And yay for quick package deliveries!

Marla - Has anyone thanked you lately? Oh, I know he *used* to do a lot of nice things for you, but what has he done for you lately?

Suggested you get a new hobby? Not quote old songs? Phooey! Not a chance!

Nan - I have nothing but love and respect for the dolphin in whatever form it chooses to take. I just particularly dig the ones who can breath on land and live quietly in my nightstand drawer until such time as I need them.

Get your dolphin on, gurlie!

kimmyk - I'm a crazy ass with a hint of dirty whore thrown in the mix. Well, dirty wife. Something. I don't know. All I know is he does indeed kinda dig it!

Taja - I dream of the day when all nations can stand in a united peace the way it appears dolphins and rabbits can!

Results? Check! Check! Check!

After that, I lost count...

RS - One day it will be safe to come outta the corner again. I promise.

XI - Regardless of how long I've known what the "theme" of this particular song is, I only just this weekend caught all the veiled references (aside from blindness, duh!) contained within. I was quite the naive girl in my day...

Phyllis - Hmmm...Well, I'm kind of a girl who needs a lot of power behind the toy, so I wonder if a toothbrush would be quite enough for me. And if I'd ever be able to go to my hottie dentist again without smirking.

Alas, I'm bookmarking! Thanks for the tip!

Terry - I'm this close to taking in commissions on this dolphin. I highly recommend it. You won't even need a few hours after one. I'm telling you, it's just that good...

kimmyk - Does this not seem like we're prepared to go all "McGuyver" on ourselves?

To be honest, I've got no real problem with that...

Melissa - Thanks for your visit and your comment. Um, to be sure, I should let you know I'm not all "dolphin" this and "rabbit" that. Well...ok, here and there. I do dig your blog! You had me at meatloaf sandwiches...

No worry - I did a fair amount of backtracking through your posts and recognize that all sorts of subjects are covered (though nothing wrong with anticipating the arrival of a Dolphin or Rabbit!)

Digging your blog, too!

"... the veiled references ..."

Whatever are you talking about? Please explain, I'd really like to know!

Melissa - Might I suggest we backtrack together over some of those meatloaf sandwiches? God, I tell you, I'm focused on getting me one of those. And a rabbit. Sigh.

Ultimately, I'm an easy to please girl. Meat and plastic. How easy is that?!

XI - All the best ones are pegged with master bingo, mister!
